How to Retrieve Amount of Light Hitting Sprite?
I'm wondering if there is a way to determine how much light is hitting a Sprite real time in the scene. For example, in my game I want to be able to determine how much the player sprite is lit (bonus points if I can determine which parts of the sprite are lit). Maybe there is something new in the High Definition Render Pipeline which I'm using? The only solution I found was to use ray casting or capturing the texture of the main camera but it would be nice to have a more universal solution. Thanks.

Hi! Were you able to find a solution for this? I need some really similar, but with enemies.
