Unity freezes on play when debugging in MonoDevelop, but is fine when not debugging
When I hit play on my environment in Unity, everything works fine. However, when I close it, open MonoDevelop, and click on Debug, it opens Unity, and when I hit play there . . . it freezes. It doesn't hit any break points (not even the Awake() of any of my MonoBehaviours).
This doesn't happen on my teammate's machine (both Win 7 - 64 bit).
I'm kind of at a loss as to how to debug this. Any suggestions?

See this post from 6 months ago. Look closely at the tiny blurb at the bottom with the possible hotfix for you:
Make sure you've applied support.microsoft.com/kb/976038 Tak Dec 9 at 15:08
This was the original issue link:

Hope it helps~
Thanks, I had already applied the hotfix, though. Strangely, after flailing around and Syncing my $$anonymous$$onoDevelop project a couple times and rebooting a couple times, it started working fine again. Very odd. I'm not sure what the magic combination was, but if it happens again, I will try synching with $$anonymous$$onoDevelop and see if that helps at all.
