Untangling two projects
I somehow started a project inside of another project... the folder structure currently goes:
**Project 1**
-Library
-Assets
**-Project 2**
--Library
--Temp
--Assets
I simply cut the Project 2 folder out of the Project 1 folder, but Unity couldn't find anything open once I did that in Project 2.
Both project folders have .csproj, unityproj, pidb, and .sln files. I just can't make heads or tales of anything.
It would be SUPER helpful to have a "Save Project As" button, or an Archive button to gather resources and zip the project up for transport or upload.
I can now open the scene from Project 2 outside the directory, but all my prefabs are invisible because their meshes can't be found... what do I need to copy over that hooks all that up again?
$$anonymous$$anaged to track down which folders were needed.
for future reference, you could've just duplicated and renamed the entire project folder then deleted the things each didn't need within unity. Easier than playing rounds of "add this, try loading" until you make it work.

This question has been answered. Apparently I can't close this myself?
