Version Not Installed?
I had an old version of unity web player and tried to play a game on facebook which was telling me I needed to install unity. I figured I needed to download a new version in order to be up to date so I uninstalled my old version and downloaded again on your website. After installing and running a version check it says I don't have it installed which does not make sense because I clearly do. Going back to the game, it still says I need to install unity. Any suggestions?

This site is for questions about developing content with Unity. You will be more likely to get a good answer when contacting the makers of the game on facebook.
That said, If you installed the newest version of Unity, and it still claims it is not installed, there is probably something wrong with the site's JavaScript. It is known that the old JavaScript code written by Unity 2.x has some issues with newer browsers, especially Chrome on the Mac (which is why Unity 3.x by default links to a JavaScript on on our site, so we can update it when things like this happen). Try using a different browser. Also, it would help if you posted the url of the game you are trying to play.
