Reloading the entire scene data
So I have done my research on checkpoints in game. Basically, I use a bunch of Player Prefs to save lots of the data stored. Now in my game I want a very simple design where when you exit the level to the menu and you reopen the level, it reopens from the last point closed.
You might be thinking, this is all easy to achieve with a whole bunch of PlayerPref data. Here's my problem. I've got lots of animations in the scene, so I will have to reload them from the saved point in time and I have lots of objects in different positions, but my main concern is the animations.
Is there an 'easy' way to do this in Javascript e.g. a SaveScene() command or something? I know it is possible to pause everything in the scene with a Time.timescale = 0; command. Thanks.
check unity serializer in Asset store, that would save a lot of effort for you
