Controllers standard assest script problems

Hi,

Just downloaded Unity 3d pro 30 day free trail the other day and neither the FPS controller or the third person controllers are working. all the scripts have errors. I've downloaded several other character controllers off the unity assets page and its the same. full of script errors. I'm at my wits end this is the 3rd time reinstalling and I still have the same problem. If anyone has an Idea , I'm at my wits end.

Are they errors (red !) or warnings? I seem to recall some harmless warnings on first run. If they are errors, post one or two (don't post 300 hundred lines of)
