Android Keyboard .text String returning empty?

I have tried many ways possible, using iPhoneKeyboard as a var as well as TouchScreenInput with a .text, and to no avail. Not sure if this is a bug, or something I may be doing wrong, but maybe someone else can help shed some light for me.

Essentially, I am trying to set an already existing String to contain whats being input on my Android phone through the keyboard. Simple, sounds like it works for everyone else too, this exact way.... but when I try to retrieve, it comes up empty, so anything I submit is blank.

Here is what I have in the Update function.

 function Update(){

     if (keyboard.visible == true){
         activeKey = 1;
         Text = keyboard.text;
     }

     if (keyboard.visible == false && activeKey == 1){
         postScore(Text, Score.score);
         activeKey = 0;
     }

 }

So I think you might have just gotten the class mixed up in writing of the code.

In the Scripting Reference I couldn't find any 'Keyboard' class. But I do believe I found what you are looking for. The Touch Screen Keyboard class is most likely what you would be looking for.

Thanks, but keyboard is just an instance of that class. I made sure I went through all the documentation to see if I was missing something.
