WebPlayer Build not working, no error message
I'm following the process described here: https://docs.unity3d.com/Documentation/Manual/PublishingBuilds.html
I have one scene in the build list, ID 0, and it's checked. Platform is set to "Web Player", none of the options (streamed, offline, development) checked. In Player Settings, the only change was to WebPlayer Template > Black Background.
When I press the "build" button, it asks me to select a folder, not save a file. No build process is started, no errors appear in the console, no .unity3d file produced.
It's giving me no feedback as to what's going wrong. Why doesn't this work?
That's a rather vague question...have you tried other builds? Does the Desktop build work?

Ah! If you select a web player build, you must select a folder where you want to keep the files, when you select the folder you can open your game in a browser, like firefox, because web player is designed for internet, i personally prefer a pc standalone, because it makes you play in your desktop like an .exe but if you choose web player you must search for the folder where you saved your project and run it from there, otherwise the game will not start automatically. And also the game tends to take a little while to run, because the web player build it is kinda slow, you need a fast computer, and specially a fast connection, if you will be running your game from your website.
