Realtime C++ Unity Interaction
Hi,
This is what I'm trying to do:
A C++ program calculates mesh distortions and changes and regenerates a new set of vertices and faces for each deformation using Marching Cubes. These models are rendered in real-time and adjusted accordingly in Unity with each change.
I've been able to use the plugin interface to, for example, input vertex coordinates and triangle indices via C++ and build a mesh procedurally in Unity, but how might I go about being able to actively update this mesh as I've described?
Basically, I guess this would be the C++ program hijacking the unity mesh-building and rendering capabilities and the "Update()" function.
Thanks in advance everybody
