Game engine stuttering
I have seen similar questions but none of the answers have helped with this. It doesnt show in the final export, but the whole time I am building the game, while I am testing, the game freezes about every second. Any ideas? I have tried every setting on my video card and my cpu is not overloaded.
You need to be a little more specific with what is happening here. Unity will appear to freeze if it has to compile a lot of scripts or if it were say baking lightmaps or navmesh's and there were a lot of objects. However, it should not freeze while the game is running so long as you do not have a bottleneck somewhere in your code. Have you looked at the profiler. Can you post a screenshot of the game running with the profiler open?

When this is happening, I have had as little as a terrain, a 1st person controller, 1 light and no added scripts.
