Vuforia works in Playmode, but not on Android device

In the scene I have a plane with a Video Player component that is a child of an Image Target. When I test in Playmode using my webcam or phone's camera (with iVCam), the plane appears and the video plays successfully. When i install the app on Android, though, the plane doesn't appear (the video doesn't play either, i can't hear its sound).
