Create DLC mini games AssetBundles
So I know this must have been asked a million times but I just can't find a specific enough answer, even on the Unity documentation.
I'm building a mobile app that will work like a platform, users will download the app then be able to pick and choose which content they want to download and use (this content will download from an Amazon s3 server)
This additional content will essentially be apps within themselves, in that they will contain multiple scenes, assets, scripting etc.
I've had some experience with AssetBundles and can successfully download and instantiate a prefab of content into a scene (including the scripts) from the server. I have also been able to download a scene with its assets - however, scripting won't work with that.
I was hoping that there would be a way that I could create a project with all the content in, then package the whole thing up as an AssetBundle, upload to the server, then instantiate it in my platform project. However, this is proving more complicated than I thought.
The only way I can currently think of doing this would be to download an AB containing the scene, then another AB that applies the scripting and do this each time I go to a new scene. But this seems like a very download-heavy way of doing it and would prefer if I could download all the content needed in one go.
Can anyone point me in the right direction of how to accomplish this please?
