Getting scene changes
Hey. I'm developing a version control system for Unity and was wondering if there were any simple ways of getting scene changes. Probably not, but I thought I'd ask anyway.
Things I've discovered so far:
Using ExecuteInEditMode the Update function gets called every time anything is changed
Cloning GameObjects to check against isn't feasible as they are added in the scene in the constructor (similar, custom class is one way)
Could also just instantiate and check against those, not preferrable
The two above methods too performance intensive. Probably better luck parsing from disk.
Anything you know would be greatly appreciated!
