Unity 3d for ubuntu
Hello. I'm beginning to grasp game development with java since i want to target more android base platform, but i want later to use a game engine. in the past i have seen and play with unity but i transfer my o.s to Ubuntu, my question is as follow; Is there a way to have unity 3D in Ubuntu or i have to take another game engine?

Unity Technologies still do not provide a Unity Editor for Linux, but it can still be run on Linux using Wine. See the community set up wiki page - http://wiki.unity3d.com/index.php/Running_Unity_on_Linux_through_Wine
Otherwise you may set up a Mac or Windows "Virtual Machine" on Linux to run the Unity Editor.
