strange Error (m_IsVisibleInScene && IsInScene()) == m_IsVisibleInScene
Hi All,
i am facing a very strange error , i tried googling but couldn't find much help except this link
The error i am getting is
(m_IsVisibleInScene && IsInScene()) == m_IsVisibleInScene
and the code where this error is occurring is
Renderer[] renderers = root.GetComponentsInChildren< Renderer >();
for( int i = 0; i < renderers.Length; i++ ){
renderers[i].enabled = false;
}
can someone please explain what this error exactly means.
I don't know; I have been getting loads of these same errors, but they don't seem to be affecting the game or relate to anything real. It just appears to be a stupid bug with the editor; but I'd like to know how to make them go away.
Still there for Unity 4.5.2. It seems to appear when an animation is playing on an object that is set inactive. (In my case gameObject.SetActive(false).)
And the animation's culling mode is set to "Based On Renderers". Setting it to "Always Animate" gets rid of it, but such set-up might not work for everyone.
