Windows 8 tablet editor support?
I just purchased a Windows 8.1 tablet with full Windows (not RT), it works great but it doesn't seem to play well with the Unity Editor GUI, it is completely non responsive. I know that the Surface Pros can resolve this using the Wacom Feel drivers which disable "Microsoft Ink", the issue here is that the tablet doesn't have a Wacom digitizer (It's the Asus T100 Transformer). Is there any solution to this problem? A way to disable Microsoft Ink outside of the driver perhaps or a plugin which simulates touch as a mouse?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
hey please keep me updated on this, i was looking to buy the exact same tablet but if it doesn't run unity decent then i might consider a differend one or hold off.
It runs decently with my very simple 2D project, I'm not sure how well it would run beyond that. It's worth trying out if you can get to a store but I probably wouldn't use it as my main development machine.
thanks for letting me know ! i won't use this as my main dev machine ofcourse, but it would be a nice little toy to mess with on vacations, when in bed or out somehwere without my pc. This can double as a kick ass tablet so now you asured me it runs unity well i'm gona get one for sure !
Thanks again !!!

I've found a workaround, though it's far from perfect. If you install "TouchMousePointer" then the touchscreen simulates a trackpad which then works with Unity. It would be really nice to get native touch support though!
great ! i think i've see this on a review of the tablet once and it seems like an ok workaround, i did forgot the name so now i can remember :)
