ArrayPrefs and PlayerPrefs
ArrayPrefs and PlayerPrefs are not viable option...Unitron does not recognize them. How do I present to a player(s) the option to input their name, play the game with a final score then keep that info, while still allowing follow-up players to do the same?

Use PlayerPrefs and ArrayPrefs. Whether Unitron "recognizes" them or not is irrelevant, and has nothing to do with whether they work (because they do).

PlayerPrefs are only stored on the players computer. It would be better to store information on a server.
Take a look at the wiki: Server Side Highscores
Good starting point with SQL, PHP and JS code.
For user input (string) you could use GUI.TextField.
Storing on a server isn't "better", it's just different, and possibly not desirable, depending on what you want to do.
If you want to "keep that info, while still allowing follow-up players to do the same" it might be desirable :-)
Depends whether you're talking about players on the same computer or not.
