Mecanim blend tree transition speed
I'm new to Unity and so far loving the mecanim system, but there is one hitch - I have this character, that is controlled on a plane with WASD, and when I switch between animations in the blendtree, some sliding is going on, because the animations interpolate slowly.
The values responsible can change to the opposite whithin frame's time, so does the movement of the character, but can I make the blend tree a bit more responsive?

I was refering to the slow transition with 2D blend trees. Even with the directional setting, the animation blends in kinda slowly...
