how to position 3rd person camera in unity?
I want the camera to look in front of him a little bit, so that you can see the horrizon. But for some reason it seems to automaticly look at his head, no matter what distance or height i put it, its autmaticaly points/angles at the players head. This causes you to only see a few feet in front of player.

Not enough information here. What is the parent/child relationship between the camera and the character? Does it display correctly at edit time and then change when you run the game? What scripts are you using on the camera and the character?
