GREE iOS/Android Integration
I need to use a leaderboard solution to save high scores and share them between iOS and Android version of my Unity game.
I choosed GREE because I think it's a complete solution and because the company that has built it acquired OpenFeint.
The documentations I found is not very well and I need some informations:
the GREE Unity version has UI panels already implemented (like the one used for login, registration, leaderboard, ecc...)?
there are some Unity iOS and Android samples that work?
I need help as soon as possible, thank for the help
Are you planning to use GREE for iOS too? ins$$anonymous$$d of GameCenter
I need to share high scores between iOS and Android! Do you know other leaderboard frameworks that work with Unity?
Well nothing that could be on both platforms. Because there is also amazon and then samgsung stores on android. Check ScoreLoop and let me know if that is helpful for you.
Currently there has been a talk that google is going to lauch it's own "GameCenter". Google's IO is in two months. Just a headsup.

The GREE documentation comes with a large PDF outlining how everything works pretty thoroughly with some example code. There may be some trial and error but it worked for me! The API is basically the same for Android and iOS, aside from Android requiring GREE in-app purchases.

Hi sonofbryce, I found some mistakes in the Gree for Unity documentation: some method (like Gree.Authorizer.Login) are deprecated in iOS and I can't found an alternative method to call the login.
When I try this simple call on my device nothing happens: in the XCode console I see that Gree.Authorizer.IsAuthorized() is equal to false but the Login UI panel has never showed.
Also I read on the Gree forum that the Unity sdk is not compatible with the Unity newer version :(.
I received now Gree support response:
"Thank you for contacting GREE Platform Office.
You seem to be using Unity Pro 4.1.2. However, the GREE SDK for Unity supports Unity Pro version 4.0.x and lower. The version 4.1.x will be supported in the near future.
Please refer the developer guide for more information.

We apologize for the inconvenience.
Kindly let us know if you have any further issues."
Ah, sorry about that. I used GREE for a game about 6 months ago and these API calls were working then.
