Android , Mesh loads only once
Hello, I'm working on a game and actually, everything is fine when I play it in the editor , but since I've changed the ennemy model for a little bit more complex mesh, on my Android device, when I change weapon , the first time I can see it and when I go back to that weapon after moving back to my default weapon , the weapon I could see the first time is now invisible (let me explain that clearer, I begin with the default weapon => change to weapon02 (I can see it) => change to default weapon (I can see it every time) => change to weapon02 (I can't see it anymore))
Please, it's really annoying, I hope you will find an answer for my issue. Thank you for reading
I don't think there's much we can do without any other information. There could be many possible errors. $$anonymous$$aybe posting your script (and explaining it, at least with comments in code) could help greatly in order to deter$$anonymous$$e what's causing you trouble ^^
Spreos , I'm using Playmaker and I gave all the informations , since i've add this new more complex mesh for my ennemy , my weapons mesh only load once , when I change to default weapon and go back to another weapon , I can't see it anymore , invisible mesh (I can still use it as a gun though , but I can't see my weapon).
$$anonymous$$aybe it's my ZTE Blade S which doesn't have enough memory to hold all the mesh , but the game is very well optimised and play smoothly
It's worth also posting this on the playmaker forum. A screen shot of the playmaker actions for you states might help.
I have too much states , it would need like 50 print screen related to the ennemy and the weapons ... the issue is that it actually works in the editor game view using the Android as remote controller but when I play it directly from my ZTE Blade S (not powerful , so that's why I have doubt about the memory) I have the problem
Well, I haven't ever used the Playmaker (didn't know about it) so I don't think I can't help much.
Anyway, playing the game on the remote controller with your smartphone is certainly not the same as playing it with your smartphone. (I know this because my phone can't load any unity games but it works fine using the remote control). So you may be right on this. You said this problem started when you replaced the enemy's mesh with a better one (more polygons or better textures i presume). I actually don't think this could be a memory issue, but with the avaliable information (the problem itself and no code nor screenshots) I can't really tell.
