Type 'System.Type' doesn't support slicing error! What should I do??
This line is throwing up the error
area[sixteen].transform.localScale=Vector3[0,0,0]; //sixteen is a name of a variable
I am inexperienced in unity3d javascript. What is this error and what should I do? Thanks...

Can we see the rest of the script? How did you declare 'area'?
var area:GameObject[];
Sorry the whole script is just too big( around 3000 lines)

You are using [] instead of () for your Vector3. Do this instead:
area[sixteen].transform.localScale=Vector3(0,0,0);
