Any reason why the box representing camera size isn't quite the right size in the scene view?

I have a sprite that is 1200 pixels in height. I have the pixels to units set to 100, so my sprite is 12 units in height. If I set the orthographic size of my camera to 6, that should make my camera height 12, as far as I understand that means that vertically the camera size should match my sprite exactly.

When I click on my camera in the hierarchy, the box that represents the size in the scene view doesn't quite match up with my sprite. It lines up exactly at the bottom but at the top there's a gap between the top of my sprite and the top of the camera (See picture).

Is my understanding of the maths wrong or is this just the scene view being imprecise? I got my info from this site: http://www.third-helix.com/2012/02/making-2d-games-with-unity/
