Can i publish a game made with Unity for free?
Can I publish a game made with Unity, without having to pay any kind of license, or as a matter of fact, pay anything? When I say publish here, I mean publish a game that's totally free. I'm not selling a game, not publishing a half-free game (like a bunch of them), but making a totally, in every context, free game. Is there maybe a special kind of Unity package that I have to use for that kind of work, or do I use the standard free Unity? Is there any special way of developing or publishing these kinds of games that I need to be aware of? Do I bind to anything buy publishing in this manner, and if yes, to what?
I believe that there is a question similar to this one that you already answered, but I can't seem to find it, so I apologize in advance for asking it, and thank you for your patience and help.

Short answer is yes, but you should read this:
http://unity3d.com/unity/unity-end-user-license-3.x You might be interested in:
(b) Unity (free version) may not be licensed and used by companies, educational institution or incorporated entities that had a turnover in excess of US$100,000 in their last fiscal year.
You should also be aware that when using Unity (free), you get a full screen unity logo that shows for a couple of seconds before the game is launched.
Thank you for answering, and for the link, it helped a lot. And the Unity logo is no problem for me, people should know with what the game was made, but thank you for pointing it out. :)

Yes it's perfectly fine to release a game that has been made with Unity. It is completely legal to give away or even sell games made with the free version of Unity.
The only thing you "can't" do is use a free 30 day trial version of the Pro (paid) version of Unity to make a game and then sell that game without purchasing Unity Pro.
All questions to do with publishing and legal stuff are answered in the Unity FAQ: http://unity3d.com/unity/faq
Really?? Can we sell a game made with the free version of Unity? Don't want to end up in a legal soup later!!!

It's very simple. You either have the free unity or unity pro. One is free, the other expensife. Anything you make with either is 100% your work. You can sell it or upload it for free. Just like for instance art you'd make through photoshop or maya.
I'm glad to see that the Unity community is that found of people that want to make free software.

It says that Unity owns the Software and therefore owns any intellectual property so created within Unity aside from the models and textures which cannot be created within Unity but come have been created in a standalone program.
Basically what this is telling me that is that Unity owns all of the scripts, particle systems, meshes etc that are part of editor but does not own any model or texture or particle system created otherwise with a standalone program separate of the Unity Editor.

Trial and Academic User Limitations. If you have licensed a trial version of the Software or you are an educational or academic institution, you may install the Software on a single computer only. In addition, if you are an educational or academic institution your license to use the Software is limited to educational, non-commercial purposes.
I found This in the Terms and Conditions, I think it means you can't give out anything from the free version of unity but I am not sure. somebody please confirm.
Trial means the 30-day free trial for Unity PRO. Academic User is a user who is affiliated with an academic institution (school, university etc.) and has a PRO licence via the organization.
Selling games using (only) the free version is allowed, as explained in the accepted answer.
