Removing Hard Edges and Appearance in General
I have a Model of a Gear that just isn't cooperating with me at all. I want it to be shiny like copper, like a new penny. Right now it looks like an old dirty penny and I don't like it. More importantly though The gear has some very hard edges that don't really look right, espiecially when the light hits it. Does anyone know how to fix this?
It's just the standard shader. Don't worry though I sorted it out.

Click on your model in the Asset Window, then under the import options change the 'Normals' from 'Import' to 'Calculate'. Make sure that the angle is something large (default is generally fine).
Wow that looks way better! all the hard edges are vanished, as for the color I managed to sort it out myself. turns out it looks a lot nicer when you add a reflection probe. It's not exact but I like it. Thank you!
