shadows problem
I just got a new pc and have some problems with unity. Whenever I use soft shadows they look weird and flicker when moving. The scene size is just the normal grid. The settings for the shadows are: soft, very high resolution, distance: 40, softness: 4. I also have a problem with the aliasing. The scenes always look jagged, despite having the setting on 8X.
Specs:
Nvidia gtx 970 (gigabyte)
amd fx 8350
Kingston hyperx 8gb
What I have tried:
reinstalling unity; installing different versions of java and unity; installing all prereqs (c++ 2006-2013); installing different video card drivers; reinstalling windows;

Hi, have you tried changing the rendering path ? Go to Edit>Project Settings>Player. In the inspector windows change Rendering Path to Deferred Lighting if you have unity Pro or to Vertex Lit if you don´t. This should improve your shadows.
