Multiplayer on Android?

Hey guys,

I wanted to ask, what options do I have if I want to create a multi-player android game which

a) does not require you to connect to the internet (Offline) in order to play with friends

b) does not require me to purchase Unity Pro

?

So far I've found AllJoyn, which I found did not have that much documentation and support for the Unity side, so I've been working slowly at it.

I've heard that the built-in Unity Networking works for Android as well, but I have no clue how to do this.
