How to make the left joystick fully control the movement?

I recently followed a tutorial to create player movement with the joysticks. It took me a while to work it into the game, but I finally managed it. The only problem is that the right stick controls rotation, which controls how the player moves. How can I make it so that when I move the joystick to the left, the player moves to the left? Here is my code:

And if anyone could help me find a tutorial for shooting a laser with the right joystick?
