Dynamic snow & sand
Okay, what I mean (just in case it's questioned), is like...when you walk on the snow or sand, it'll leave foot prints, the sand with kick up, that stuff (an example of the sand would be something like the sand in Uncharted 3)
Is this possible?
Yes, the sand sounds the simpler to the two to achieve with particle effects. There are many links on UA about 'snow footprints'
So, it's just a particle effects or something more to it?
Because I can tell in the game, that the most the desert is like that (where you walk, the foot prints are left & the sand kicks up)
Well if you also meant footprints in the sand (and not just kick-ups) then both are about as difficult from what I've read. Look at Decals and the other solutions from prior posts on 'leave footprints'
I thought decals were just used for like...objects that didn't move
your footprints will...move? ;-) Anyway, was just a suggestion I haven't done it personally.
