Unity app getting rejected by Apple due to crash on iPad 2 iOS 4.3.3

I've created my game and tested it on an iPad with iOS 3.2, 4.1, 4.3.2, and some other older iOS versions throught the whole bug-hunting phase.

Recently it was finished and I put it to be reviewed by Apple in order to get in App Store.

The problem is that the application is having a weird crash only on iPad 2 with iOS 4.3.3 as reported by Apple. I am unable to reproduce the issue on my device, even using debug stuff to simulate server-downs and other behaviors that could possibly led to the described problem.

I'm clueless of what to do but I've remebered a message from Unity Community suggesting to submit applications with iOS 4.2 as target instead of iOS 4.3. But I've already submited using 4.2... but I'm left with few answers to this problem besides some weird incompatibility issue.

Is there some know problem with Unity 3.3 and the iPad 2 with iOS 4.3.3?

Yes, they sent out that email because they knew some apps were crashing with 4.3. There is nothing you can do about it at the moment except develop on 4.2. Sorry.

Well, I've already used Xcode 3.2.5 and target iOS 4.2. But it's still crashing at their 4.3.3 iPad 2 device. $$anonymous$$y iPad with iOS 4.3.2 works fine.

Or do you mean something else when you tell me to develop on 4.2?

No. But I'm starting to wonder it may be some issue with my server side or the device Apple is using.

I launched the iPhone version of my game and it passed through Apple's tests. The game is exactly the same, so I've sent the binary for the iPad again and...!! It did not have the previous error anymore, but they told me it crashed at another point, completely randomly.

I can't reproduce those crashes no matter what I do. It's like they're forcing me to buy an iPad 2 to fix this... (and probably there won't be any issue, so I'll just waste my money).
