how to change object

I am making a free roaming game. how do i change from player to car when i press E button. I know how to change the camera but i need to know how to chage objects.

As in, your character morphs into a car? You push a button and they go all transformer on you and become a vehicle? Or are you talking about entering an existing vehicle?
