Variables in animations
Hello, I'm having a problem where I am animating a slime bouncing up and down, but I also want to have growth stages for the slime, so I put that at 0 frames, its yscale will be 1, at 60 frames, its yscale will be 0.8, and at 120 frames, its yscale will be 1 again. This works great for making the slime bounce up and down, but it is overriding the code in the script that is controlling its stages of growth. How would I go about using a variable in the animation tab? Thanks.
you could simply control its scale through the same script theorically, just set in LateUpdate the scale of the bone
you can add an animationevent that would at a specific frame start a function, this function would set the value of the size that is applied in lateupdate
I already tried doing it in code, it was a bit messy.
