Monodevelop mousewheel doesn't work
Ugh this makes me so frustrated, it's so inconvenient and argh.
The thing is, randomly (usually after being being on monodevelop for like 5 seconds) the cursor will be stuck on the Text Selection mode and the mousewheel will not work, the cursor will also remain like that everywhere except when outside of monodevelop (top bar or bottom toolbar).
The fact that if I alt-tab back and into monodevelop again it works for a while it makes me think this is maybe due to lack of focus... anyone got any idea what's causing this?
What makes it more inconvenient though, is that while this is happening I can't click pretty much any button, be it the Search bar (next, previous or the X), or when I open the options menu and etc and try to click "OK" or "cancel" or something. Those options that have a tick box get highlighted when I click them, but they do not trigger (if I press Space for example they do).
So it's really a mouse thing and it is really inconvenient and annoying, I've been googling this for months and never found anything that could help me (I barely even found anything that tried to help)
So since I can't stand it anymore I'm asking this here now... Please help me and my sanity :)
Terribly sorry if it doesn't, but unity answers were the "best" thing to come to my $$anonymous$$d regarding this issue, can you redirect me to somewhere better then if possible?
I'd say this should be closed as a duplicate of this question, but I think that would be about as helpful as having two of the exact same question.
http://monodevelop.com/Developers
specifically the 'reporting bugs' sections.
https://github.com/mono/monodevelop
if you are programmatically inclined enough to try to fix it.
It appears to be a known bug in mono develop. If it is super annoying, perhaps consider changing your IDE to something else.
Yes, it is a duplicate and it's kind of my fault really, I had posted it but later I couldn't find it (probably still awaiting approval) and since it didn't show on my profile either I assumed there was some kind of connection error or anything like that on the computer I was using... So I remade the question and then both got accepted...
