Importing from Blender 2.49b into Unity 3.3
I created a model in Blender. I then tried to import it into Unity. It seemed to work. There were no errors. However, Unity is showing it as an empty object (the edges of a cube). Any idea why this happens?
The model I'm importing has no armature or anything else. I removed them all because I thought that's the issue.

Try to export the object as fbx. If it looks the same maybe the normals are flipped (ctrl + n). Hope that helps Cery

I had a similar problem. Like Cery said just flip the normals. Click the option that says "recalculate normals" inside. That's what I did and it worked fine.

I had this same problem when exporting from Blender 2.49b, and I found a solution. When exporting to an FBX, you need to click "Scene Objects" at the top of the export dialog box. Hope this helps!
