Free Character Model with Basic Animation
Hi to all, I have been searching the net for a free Basic Character Model both Female and Male which have some basic animation like walking, jumping and sitting. I want something that is semi-naked, wearing only underwear, with bald head. I hope someone can give me some link. Thanks in advance.
you can't do better than mixamo which is the industry standard - and indeed they offer many free models, and even free animations !
you will eventually have to use mixamo for all your human animation needs so away you go
Note that they have a large number of free animations for experimentation (marked FREE and ZERO CREDITS)
I'll bite. Why is mixamo "have to use" ins$$anonymous$$d of $$anonymous$$ax or turbosquid (which comes up 1st on the search "human model animated".)
dude I would say mixamo animations, human body animations, are really widely used, in commerce you know? in commercial games. recall the OP is asking about humanoids specifically ... bipeds.
the only thing mixamo does is animate humans (and a couple horses!).
it's the basic go-to place, for humanoid animations, in the game business I guess. it is integrated to unity, you just buy the everything pak on the asset store, etc.
turbosquid is awesome but i guess it's more models like if you need a spaceship, car or whatever .. it's a model warehouse.

Thanks for this. I have made an account in $$anonymous$$aximo. I have also downloaded the basic male model to look at and experiment on. However, maximo dont have free basic animation for the models. I want to have a more Chibi style of basic models just like that in FlyFF game or DragonNest with some basic actions/animation like walking, running, jumping, sitting and probably a basic attacking action/animation for me to look at and study. I hope you could give another source for free character models with those basic actions or animation.

suggest you ask a new separate question "looking for free biped animations of _" and state the exact ones you are looking for. be precise.

mixamo has many free animations. Notice the image I posted in my answer
