How to prevent Particles from persisting while ParticleSystem is disabled?
I have a GameObject with a ParticleSystem childed to it. When I disable that object, it also disables the particles. The problem comes when I enable the object again later, and the particles that were created previously are still there, mid-life. How do I get rid of the particles when I disable the object? I am aware I probably need to do something in the OnDisable event, but setting the particles' lifetimes to 0 there didn't work.
