Is there a generalized version of GUIUtility.hotControl?
So, I'm currently building a GUI system and it dynamically generates boxes, buttons, labels and all sorts of things. I need to be able to separate clicks on the GUI from clicks off of it because I'm also using RayCasts and other things dependent on not clicking on the GUI.
I read that a while back, you could more or less just use GUILayer.HitTest to get the job done but that was when GUI stuff was built differently.
Now I'm using the modern stuff so it doesn't work and I'm using GUIUtuility.hotControl but this only works for buttons.
Is there a generalized version/method that works for all UnityGUI/OnGUI constructs?
Thanks.
