Respawning in UnityIphone?
Hi Guys! im kinda stuck here. I cant respawn! When I downloaded the:RollABall Game and then hit play: my ball fell through a hole thus making my character re-spawn. I took That BLACKHOLE script:
var spawnPoint : Transform; var theShadow : GameObject;
function OnTriggerEnter (other : Collider) { other.gameObject.active = false; theShadow.active = false;
yield new WaitForSeconds (0.5);
other.transform.position = spawnPoint.position;
other.gameObject.active = true; theShadow.active = true;

and placed it in my other project. I hada a cube that was a lava looking thing and i put my black hole script in it. i set the variables just like the ones in the rollaball project... it didnt work...T_T
CAN YOU PLEASE EITHER GIVE ME A RESPAWNING SCRIPT OR CAN U FIX THIS ONE.

I'm trying to do the same thing. Also I can't get the stupid certificate and stuff right so I can't deploy to my ipod touch.... its such a hassle and I've gone through tutorials and still can't do it :(

If the ball fell right into or through the lava, then it's probably because you haven't added a collider component to your lava object.
If you're getting errors, you'll need to add those errors, and a description of exactly when they happen (during play? do you have errors in the console before pressing play?) to your description in your question for anyone to be able to help you further.
