My transform positions have been behaving really odd today
Having thought about it i assume getting the latest unity update has caused this odd behavior. But transforms are positioning strangely. At runtime an object is created at (0,0,0)... later another object is created and parented to it, if i don't touch the positions then they are both at (0,0,0)...but when i tell the child transform.position to move to some where else... it move's the parent's position... but even more strange is that it still tells me the parent is at (0,0,0) when it clearly is not.
Please help =( i just need the parent to stay at (0,0,0) and have the child be at a given location.
I actually solved this problem but i don't understand why so explanation would be greatly appreciated. I changed the option in the top left from center to pivot... now it works fine... But what is that?
