How to attach model to camera into certain position (first person view)?
Note: I am still completely new to unity and blender stuff.
I'm trying to attach mace I created with blender to first person camera so it will look like player is holding it. I also created an animation with unity that pressing mouse1 it will swing the mace.
I put mace into Main Camera/Melee category where Melee is an empty gameobject. I then positioned my mace to where I want it by looking into Game view. Then I created an animation and attached it to my mace. Animation works and mace is positioned correctly on game view. However when I hit play, my mace is not where it is supposed to be.
Any idea why? You can also download full project here.

I did this but didn't fix anything. I actually fixed it myself by deleting animation and creating it again 2 times. I can't tell what I did different this time but seems like it works so I guess problem was on my animation eventho it wasn't on autoplay.

set the position of mace infront of the main camera.Make the mace as the child of main camera in hierarchy.
