Question by Caiuse · Jul 12, 2011 at 12:50 PM · arrayclass

Class Object Array?

class Story{ private var scenes: Array;

 function Story() {
     var newScene : StoryScene = new StoryScene( 1 );
     newScene.sceneName = "my first scene";
     scenes.Push( newScene );
 }

}

class StoryScene{

 private var props : Array;
 private var featured : Array;

 private var sceneId : int;
 public var sceneName : String = "default name";

 function StoryScene(newId : int ) {
     //set ID
     sceneId = newId;
 }

}

I keep getting Null Reference when I run this, why is this?

Cheers - C

It's not good to get in the habit of using Array; use List ins$$anonymous$$d.

You haven't created the array.

 private var scenes = new Array();
