Performance in build significantly lower than in-engine.
When I run a game I'm making in-engine I average about 60 FPS, but when playing it in a standalone build I seem to be getting what must be around 12 FPS. Not sure why that would be happening. I did test on the "Fastest" graphics settings, and it made it a bit better, but marginally so. Anyone have any ideas?
Just building stand-alone to PC. Plan on going to mac and linux as well. $$anonymous$$y problem happens when I build the thing then immediately run it from the same machine.

Could it be that in-studio, you are not rendering your game at full resolution?
In my setup the unity preview pane is more like one fourth of my total screen resolution.
I suppose that could be the case. I'm running the game full-screen in-editor whenever I can to try and stifle performance issues like that, but I suppose that could be the issue. I'd be shocked if a 100px to either side would drop the frame rate that much though.
It may be related to running your game in windows or full screen mode too. When running in full screen, usually you get better performance. Have you tried running windowed versus full screen in your built app?
In the build the performance gets better when I don't run it in fullscreen.
