Replacing all the PNG files in my project to ETC2 for android
I've heard that android devices can't use PNG images, so they compress them into etc2 in runtime, which makes the game run slower and take more RAM. So I want to change all the png files in my game to etc2 (with alpha channel) to make the game be lighter for android devices, because with the PNGs it crashes after a few minutes. I just don't know how I can convert the images into etc2, I didn't find anything reliable on the internet.
Actually, the compiler will automatically do this prior to runtime. UNLESS your images are dynamically loaded, this should not be an issue.
