Give the player shadow
Hi everyone
I became to a problem with unity 3.3 pro.
I tried to give my player a shadow on the terrain. but when i'm using lightmapping. There is nothing happening . Is there maybe another suggestion to bake a shadow? It needs to move with the player if the player is moving?
Someone can help me?

If you're using deferred rendering, you can only have shadows on directional lights. Use forward rendering if you want shadows on spots and points.
you can either do it on a per-camera basis, or a per-project basis. if you want to do it for the camera, just select the camera and in the inspector there's a dropdown called 'rendering method' or something like that.
Now just one question about it.
I'm baked the lightningmap and it's working, but it said; UV set on $$anonymous$$esh1 is incorrect. Lightmapper needs UVs inside (0,1)x(0,1) space. UnityEditor.DockArea:OnGUI()
and something else, I'm using Bumped Specular for my objects, but after baking the lightningmaps. The object is diffuse and not bumped specular anymore. You know why? $$anonymous$$aybe you can help me?
as of 3.3.04f, the lightmapper doesn't handle specular and diffuse (that's co$$anonymous$$g in either 3.4 or 3.5, i don't remember which). The error you're getting is because you only have one UV set, you need a second set of uv's for lightmapping. Go to your original FBX in the project list, and look at the FBX importer in the inspector- you should see a checkbox for 'generate lightmapping uvs'. check that box, wait a while because it takes some time, then try again.
