I'm getting compilation errors in MonoDevelop, but not in Unity's compilation - why?
I have verified that I'm using .NET 2.0 (not subset) in both Unity (Windows target) and MonoDevelop (project properties). Why would I get C# syntax errors, mostly relating to the version of .NET in Mono, but not in Unity? How do I get the two compilations "on the same page"? Syntax errors I've seen so far are: default parameters not allowed and Regex.Compiled is not an option. I thought I researched both and found that they are supported in .NET 4.0, but not earlier versions. Unity didn't have a problem with the code, but Mono did when I did a build (F7).
Thank you for your time.
