Need help with exporting fbx with textures

Hi,

First of all, sorry for my English:D

In Blender I have a model with 3 different textures. I imported them from SketchUp, and now I would like to export the model with the textures to a .fbx file. I tried to export it to the asset folder that but only the .fbx model was exported with a map named Materials with a lot of .mat files.

I tried to find a guide on the internet but I'm a real noob in Blender and don't know what everything means (UV, baking textures, and more).

Can someone tell me how to export the model with textures to .fbx? That would be great;-) Or is there a easy-to-understand guide on the internet in some steps or something like that;-)? For example I found http://www.mat-d.com/site/how-to-export-from-blender-to-unity-3d-with-textures-tutorial/, but beside I dont understand the guide, are all those steps really necessary (I mean: do I have to do that for all my 50 models)?

Thanks! Jordy

Thanks for your reply, but what should I do? Export from Sketchup to .dae? And then import the .dae in Blender->export it to .fbx in the asset folder and then copy the textures to the same folder?
