Should I pool thousands of box colliders
Hello,
I'm currently having many primitive Box Colliders in my scene for a mobile game. So I have identified at least batch of 8500 which are currently marked as static and could theoretically be pooled. So that I would only have about 50-100 colliders active at once. Now I am wondering whether this will bring me a noticeable performance increase (more then .1 ms on an iPhone 5S for example) or if the engine is smart enough to filter them out by itself as they are marked as static.
Btw: I am not using any raycasts in that layer, if that makes a difference.
