Camera Wrapping?

I'm trying to make an RTS, and I need the world to appear round. To do this, I'm planning on teleporting things when they are near the edge of the world, including the camera. But before the camera teleports, you would be able to see the edge of the world. Is there some way to make the camera display the other side of the world at the same time? I made a diagram to help explain what I'm looking for.

I would try to just re-render the world once I reach the edge, but then that makes managing unit and building positions absolutely chaotic.

I have not done this personally, but one thought would be to have two cameras active as the "edge" of the map is approached, and cameras 1 and 2 would share the viewport real-estate by a percentage of how close to the edge

You could have two cameras, one on one side of the world and one on the other. The second camera would render first, then the main camera would render again with the "don't clear" option.

I tried this out, and it seems to work! I'm still working out some bugs though, but those are my fault.
