Upgrading unity broke some script references, why?
Hi, I did an upgrade to 2018.2.3f1 and as I did so it broke a few scripting references, some custom ScriptObject public variables and it also reset some public variables on other GameObjects.
Does this always happen upgrading unity and is there any way to prevent it?
I understand it has something to do with the meta files.. could one somehow restore the meta files from a source control repo to fix this?
Thanks all!
maybe pack your project as an asset, and then reopen it in your new version of unity could prevent this
