Tons of weird Script compilation errors / editor delays
Hey all,
This only started happening recently, without any updates to Unity being installed or anything.
Basically, every time I edit a C# script and save, I go back to Unity to wait anywhere from 3-8 seconds for my scripts to compile (read: wait for inspectors to show new public variables, broken scripts to work, etc.)
This sounds kind of minor, but when I'm making tiny changes to a script, this is actually adding up to cost me quite a bit of time each day.
Three other issues that I think are related:
upon coming back to Unity after saving a script, if I try to enter information into any field (including renaming files in the Project tab, changing values in Inspectors, etc.), after the delay, my cursor will be moved back to the start of the input field.
If any of my scripts contain a compile error, ALL of my components display the "The associated script can not be loaded. Please fix any compile errors and assign a valid script"
If the second point happens and I have a GameObject with a custom component on it, I get "MissingReferenceException: The object of type 'Object' has been destroyed but you are still trying to access it." every frame (not in Play mode) until I deselect the GameObject.
(This is Unity 5.3.5f1)
Thanks in advance for any insight!
